an image in mathematics?
Johannes von Lindheim (TU Berlin)
Due to the current situation, the talk takes place online, via zoom. The meeting link has been sent out via the usual mailing lists; please contact the organisers if you have not received the email and would like to join the talk.
In this talk, we will consider different types of image data and how they can be modeled mathematically. At the end of the talk, we look at one particular task in image processing called “Optical Flow”, which is concerned with tracking the motion in a sequence of images, and one basic approach to solve it.
